  • When is my professional technical interview?

    As soon as all documentation has been received, checked and accepted, a date is released for the interview. This is usually within a few weeks. If the proposed date is not accepted, the interview will be rearranged for a more suitable date.

  • How long is the application process to become a CompEx instructor?

    Instructor application process can take up to 5 weeks but can be quicker.  However, process length is dependent on how quickly the required documents are submitted to CompEx, and whether there are additional requirements to be met, which may be specified during the professional technical interview.  Please see the instructor application process.

  • How long is the application process to become a CompEx assessor?

    Assessor application process is dependent on applicant experience and route of application.  The full process is generally longer than the instructor application process.  Process length is also dependent on how quickly the required documents are submitted to CompEx, and whether there are additional requirements to be met, which may be specified during the professional technical interview.  Please see the assessor application process. 

  • I am currently a CompEx instructor - What do I do to become an assessor?

    If you are already a registered CompEx instructor and would like to become a CompEx assessor for your training provider, you should submit your application using the assessor application process.  Application may be quicker, dependent on applicant experience, current CompEx qualifications held, and which units are to be assessed.  Please see the assessor application process.

  • I am currently a CompEx instructor. How can I instruct on other CompEx qualifications?

    You can apply to be an instructor of additional CompEx units through your training provider via the standard application process.  Please see the application process.

  • How do I become peripatetic?

    To become a licenced CompEx peripatetic, you must be an existing CompEx instructor or assessor and have sufficient experience of delivery and/or assessment practice.  You must submit application form (JTL923b) directly to the CompEx certification body, along with other key documents/evidence via email info@compex-cert.com
